15 years ago, Arabsera was not even a concept; it began simply as an academic course on Probability Theory that I conducted and hosted on a YouTube channel. This course was designed to assist undergraduate students interested in Machine Learning, with no initial intention of expanding the channel to include additional courses.
However, following the success of this initial offering, I began hosting more courses on the same channel. As the channel's viewership exceeded three million views, it became clear there was a substantial demand for high-quality educational content.
The motivation behind hosting the first course—and subsequently additional courses—was to provide distinguished education in these subjects, founded on three pillars: rigor, intuition, and practical implementation. Our aim was to match and exceed the quality of their counterparts at international institutions.
This same motivation has continued to evolve and mature, leading us to the development of Arabsera, a platform that aims to elevate the academic standards of Arab universities to new heights, as explained in our vision and philosophy, by involving all the exceptional expertise and professors from all the world.
قبل خمسة عشر عامًا، لم يكن أرابسيرا موجودًا حتى كفكرة. بدأ الأمر بمجرد كورس جامعى في نظرية الاحتمالات قمت بتدريسه ووضعه على قناة يوتيوب. تم تصميم هذا الكورس لمساعدة الطلاب المهتمين بتعلم الآلة، دون نية أولية لتوسيع القناة لتشمل كورسات إضافية.
بعد نجاح هذا الكورس، قمت بتدريس المزيد من الكورسات وعرضها على نفس القناة. ومع تجاوز عدد المشاهدات للقناة ثلاثة ملايين مشاهدة، أصبح من الواضح أن هناك طلبًا كبيرًا على المحتوى التعليمي عالي الجودة.
كان الدافع وراء استضافة الكورس الأول - ولاحقًا الكورسات الإضافية - هو تقديم تعليم متميز في هذه الموضوعات، مبني على ثلاث ركائز: العمق الرياضى، والفهم البديهى، والتطبيق العملي.
كان هدفنا أن نوازي ونتفوق على جودة نظرائها في الجامعات العالمية. لقد استمر هذا الدافع في التطور والنضج، مما أدى إلى تطوير أرابسيرا - منصة تهدف إلى رفع المعايير الأكاديمية للجامعات العربية إلى آفاق جديدة، كما هو موضح في رؤيتنا وفلسفتنا, بالتعاون مع الأساتذة المتميزين من كل الجامعات العالمية.
